Nods.
The really tuff stuff does have an emotional after-effect that can take some extra time and tlc while it eases. Hang in.

I ate way too many calories yesterday. I can save the week. But it means a little extra work. I'm cutting down the rest of the week to 1000 calories a day. I'm fidgeting. I might even take my walker on a toddle. I'm wondering if i should give it a name. perhaps some decoration. On the happy side. I had my ice cream. that was breakfast. Now I just have to make it 4 1/2 more hours to supper. And don't worry. 1000 calories for me is still a lot of food and I will go back to 1200+ calories a day on Sunday. My calculated average will be about 1250 calories a day for the week. … my stupid weakness for warm bread and peanuts have way too many calories. one meal was a bag in itself. Well enough self-flagellation. Time to move on with the day.
and no. I have no weighed myself. I am not going to weigh myself until Sunday. I don't want the indulgence of yesterday to do more psychological damage than I've already done.

Totameafox - I also call it chair wiggles, lol, but toddle is a new one on me, like it - may snag, lol, don't be surprised ;)

So many bumps this week. Had a dog take himself for a walk Tuesday and didn't come home until yesterday morning. I was a bit of a wreck and didn't make the best food choices, hello Costco chocolate chip cookie. Then we had a major spring storm that dropped 6 inches if heavy, wet snow. Bunch of branches and trees down everywhere. Lost power about 3 am Thursday and it was off for about 30 hours. Grateful for the generator. Hubby was out of town for all of this, so that made it all extra fun, lol. So not as much exercise and too many beers. Time to get back at it!

omg. i think i would have curled up in bed and refused to come out. My dog (log passed) had always walked herself. It always made me nervous when she went off property because she was the type of dog that people usually fear. I'm glad yours came home ok.

I haven’t weighed myself in a couple days..I finally got to 5lbs lost & then I’ve just felt weak the past week..not tired but like my muscles have no strength, it’s weird.
Also I went in for a root canal yesterday & came out with a tooth extraction, that has derailed my listing streak. I have got to get back on track.
I’m scared to see how much weight I’ve put on in just a few days.

If your body is telling you to rest, rest. If the feeling persists, go see your doctor. Losing weight shouldn't make you feel bad.

Thanks @totameafox and @yakkystuff I compartmentalize really well (probably too well!) so I was ok while I was working. It was after those hours that I was freaking out. The old guy is tired and had a ton of ticks. Ticks in March in northen Michigan doesn't bode well for the season!
@meachemcrystal795 Fox's advise is spot on. Your body is telling you something and you should listen. Especially as you are healing from your extraction. Then slowly get back to logging and goals from there.

I am coming out of a mental health slump. It's slow going. It seems that sometimes my brain/body gets too overwhelmed and I just crash hard. When that happens I have no energy, cooking does not happen, and I eat whatever I can grab or order. Plus I don't want to do ANYTHING. So my activity is down as well. Hopefully I can keep working in a positive direction with my mental health and then get back into my physical health.

make rules you can't break. When I had major issues with depression my two rules were, I get up when the alarm goes off (feet hitting the floor) and I dress as if I am going out even if I am not. I know it might be easier for me to do than others because I was born disabled. I was used to things getting done simply on will power alone but you can do it to. Sometimes recovery takes active work. But now that it is passed, don't let it hinder you. The past is the past. Your present and future is always your choice.

Thank you for the kind words and suggestion.
I am proud to say I got up and actually cooked last night. Since I had healthy stuff for lunch meal prepped, I ended up with 2 very healthy and nourishing meals. And it felt GOOD to have healthy fresh food and I even enjoyed the cooking process.
It is just a mix of so much that is draining me. I deal with chronic fatigue, chronic pain, depression, and anxiety. Work has been insane. So I am just on edge and it all feeds into each other.
