Paula it is feeling much better. I used a massage gun on it tonight. Still hurt!

Chris I am glad you like your shoes. And hope they are great. I need to get a housekeeper. Then I might clean my house better.

Relaxed tonight. Judge sentenced a young man to 17-22 years for the wrongful death of 3 teens today. It was very emotional.

Tonight I went to DND at a friends home. I can hardly believe it is almost March already. Time goes by fast.
My upper thigh is still sore. But still sore. Still using my massage gun on it.

    Shelley,

Your job must be so emotionally difficult, seeing humans at their worst and the tragic results. So sorry.

On the other hand, you do DND?!? Jealous!!!

Shelley, I don't know what DND is. Sorry you are still sore. And our house would be a complete mess without our housekeeper. I would be so stressed. :#
We have Collin this morning. Good thing we have a collection of Paw Patrol videos. He has the stuffed characters and the small toys in their vehicles. He loves them.
We'll have Ronan this afternoon. I got a new book for him to read as part of his homework. He's to do 20 mins each day reading. I hope he likes it.
Well, that's it for now. Later, my friends.

Shelley - I'm sure you have many hard days in your line of work. Hopefully you are taking care of you :-) I thought of you when I was on jury duty :-)

I've really tried to reduce the amount of time I'm spending on devices. Frankly a reduction of time with media. I can't deal with all of the swirl these days. So I'm trying to do other things. Thinking of you all often!

The weather this week has finally turned nice outside. We've had a few days of 55° weather which has been glorious. I've gotten some really nice walks in which I'm super excited about.

Luckily my meeting this morning doesn't start till 8:30 so I can go to sunrise yoga which I love on a Friday. Great way to start the weekend.

Not as much progress on the scale as I would like, but I'm being gentle with myself.

We leave for our cruise on the 16th... We are all pretty excited. Especially my husband who adores cruises. His favorite type of vacation.

Jim haa had multiple appointments over the past few weeks about his Parkinson's disease. There are a couple really good therapies that they are recommending from an occupational therapy and exercise therapy perspective. Yesterday he went and had it intake at a company called Rock Steady. Which is a boxing exercise for people with Parkinson's.... supposed to be amazing. So I think he's going to try that out. Hoping these things give him some forward momentum with his mobility. Right now his right hand and his right leg I have been impacted. His mood is still quite low it just challenging. But I understand. Hoping he gets a nice boost from our vacation.

    Ah Karen,

Boxing sounds wonderful, it is such a blessedly physical and emotional way to exercise. Sometimes what we need is to punch something till we're exhausted.

    Chris,

I played DnD once, several decades ago, as a humble hobbit. I was new and didn't know anybody. I'd like to try it again if I could find a game in my area. I dream of this Lego Dungeons and Dragons set.

Karen, sending Jim good thoughts and hugs...to you, too. <3<3
Oh, I remember now...Thanks, Paula. I like the Lego DnD stuff!
We had Collin this morning. He and I went out for a walk and he fell asleep within the first 10 mins!! I did go around to the Dog Park then home...1.49 miles in 42 mins. I was hoping it would make me feel better, but I had to be careful when I coughed so I didn't wake him up...same thing when we got home. He slept for two hours for us.
Ronan is here now playing video games w/Grandpa.
I should be okay to see my trainer on Monday. Going to read for a while.
Have a good weekend, my friends.

Paula I am sure there is a zumba community there. Even one on the hub. Virtually so you can do it from your own home. I am a female orc this time.

Karen I think this cruise will be great for you both. And I can't wait for the photos.

Chris how old is Collin now? Seems like forever since he was born. He will be in school before you know it. Reading is so good for little minds.

We had a chili contest at work today. I made cornbread. It was fun.

    Shelley,

The female Orc is AWEsome! I loved Garona (the heroine and love interest in the Warcraft movie) and can totally see you rocking that!!!

I'd like to play a woke female Mind Flayer (MF) - one who realized that all creatures are sentient but is conflicted because she needs to kill to survive.

Is it okay if I get on a soapbox sometimes? I just like to philosophize. Ignore this if you want:
In DnD, MF are portrayed as arrogant villains who view other creatures as "lesser beings" to be eaten. But humans treat many animals the same way, so is it evil? It seems like that's just life: "Eating requires an eater to destroy an eaten." (And I'm not sure plants are "lesser" either, so vegan doesn't help me.)

Paula I have often thought the same about plants. Never kill unless necessary to survive I say. And my biggest complaint is wasted meat. An animal died so you can eat. I hate when people give a small child a huge burger. Only to throw away most of it. Give them part of your meal. You can always get more.

I loved Warcraft. I wonder if I can change my Orcs name. I had never thought of being a MF. But you could play one. Very interesting.

I am a nerd Paula. I read, mostly fantasy and end of the world things. Dragons of Pern. The entire series. And played DND back in 1982. I love to geek out.
