Pitiful steps this week, but I felt like I've been overdoing it. The fatigue is real! I was barely able to walk 20 minutes on the treadmill yesterday (actually stroll is maybe the better word)! I haven't been posting my walks because they aren't really exercise, just trying to get steps.

Ok so as I said above, the fatigue is hitting hard right now. Anyone else had a hysterectomy? I can't wait til I feel back to normal!

    Discussion Question

Where is your favorite place that you have visited?

My favorite place was in the Bahamas, we went to a beach called Blue Lagoon Island. It was remote, quiet, and beautiful!

I'd have to say the place that Brad and I are right now is pretty amazing.
We are in overwater bungalows in Mexico... Caribbean side, we can see Cozumel across the ocean.
And, good (bad?) news.. there is a scale here so I will weigh in this week.
Suspect Brad will still want a pass.
    We are truly in paradise!!

Another week of bouncing around the same weight. But, I'm convinced it's water weight from my Valentine's dinner and leftovers - hubs and I got takeout pizza for the first time in years, and it was delicious. I have a new watch that does body composition, and it's telling me my muscle amount has increased, so I'll take it

Happy Monday ! I am draggin today, I did not sleep well or very much at all. It was sooo windy all day yesterday and last night, our bedroom is on the highest floor, and I coulda swore that wind was ripping the roof off shingle by shingle. There was no actual damage, just a few branches down, but I did tell the husband that when the wind dies down he has to go inspect the roof and siding.

Saturday, I had a full day of ocular migraines, they usually only last 30 minutes or so, but they just kept on all day it seemed like, so I did alot of laying around with my eyes closed and a heat wrap on my head. Although I did do 30 minutes of Pilates/yoga before they hit, so that was a plus.

Sunday, I woke up and made 10 turkey pot pies for the freezer, I made a bunch of jello for snacks (apparently the gelatin is supposed to be good for my joints, so it's worth a try) I also made tuna salad for my lunches, cut up some cantaloupe, and made hard boiled eggs for the hubby. Then I did 45 minutes on the treadmill.

Hubby and I didn't do much for Valentines Day, we are on a no spend kick, not because I'm boycotting anything, but because I want new dinnerware, cups, and glasses, etc for when the kitchen gets done. We are making progress, but he has to finish 2 other projects before that, once he is done the 1st one, I will order the cabinets, so they will be here when he is finished the 2nd. Projects are expensive, thank goodness he is handy, cause I don't think we'd be able to afford it if we had to pay for labor.

I had a rough time with my exercises today. My motivation is there but my energy levels were not as high as previous weeks. I still completed my exercise DVD but had to modify a few of the new exercises just to get through it.

What do you all do to get through those low energy times?

@Gidgitgoescrzy you had a productive Sunday. Turkey pot pie sounds like a great winter meal.

I had a slow weekend. Checked out a Farmers Market I normally don't visit and had a relaxing day. It's been dreadfully cold here but I don't let that stop me from taking the dog out. I know how to dress well and don't get cold. I'm excited for this week. I have an interview for a position that I think will really fit me well and I"ve been practicing my interview skills to nail it. Also have a few days off and plan to get some meal prep and house work done.

Rest can be a big part of your health journey! If it's multiple days of fatigue, as long as I show up and do a little, that's all I can ask of myself. Energy and motivation can definitely fluctuate. Completing your dvd exercises (even with modifications) is a huge win!

Thank you! Really nasty case of gastro, I'm still pretty knocked about. My husband got it too, but luckily had the good anti-nausea meds from the hospital by then, so he took them and staved off the worst of it. I feel like I've done 500 sit ups though and I wish the dizziness would pass!!

@Alatariel75 oh no! That is awful! Sips of fluids and gatorade until you can fully keep things down. Feel better soon!

We are getting 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow. I am ready for spring already! The good news is that I went for a walk today knowing the snow is coming tomorrow. It is the first time I hit my step goal this week! I need to work on that some more.

I didn't sleep well last night so laying in bed already. Hopefully I will sleep ok tonight!

This is a day early and is only a quick check-in. I am headed out of town today, so that's why the early weigh in. I'm traveling by myself for work, so I should have downtime tonight and tomorrow to catch up and post something new.

    Happy Wednesday!

I am so proud of myself, I have been eating so well, and NOT SNACKING ! I've been riding my bike for 10 minutes everyday, and then every other day doing pilates. I've also been using my vibration plate. The cellulite on my legs is awful, but I am so scared to do squats or push my legs too hard incase my knee pain comes back, so I've looked up some exercises to do that don't require squats, so I will start doing some of those.

    Have a great day !

Definitely didn't get a loss the right way this week, but there it is!

Finally feeling a bit better, I managed to walk the dogs this morning. I'm sooooo tired though. I'm back at work (from home) but I might have to sneak in a nap.
