No football games this week, just the long buildup towards the Super Bowl on February 9th. Who are you rooting for? This thread is here for all your football talk.

(I intentionally did not include the flag football Pro Bowl game. Discuss it if you must.)

    I’ll root for KC since Mahomes has the Texas Tech connection, and because they are playing the Eagles..

    I don't have a favorite. Probably Philly, very slightly, if forced to pick one. They've been fun to watch this season - you really can't dislike Saquon Barkley - and a few favorite former co-workers will be very happy if they win.

    Eagles and I am not one of the morons that ruin it for the rest of you. Just saying. There are a lot though. In fact one teenager climbed a pole after the game,well is dead from falling.
    I followed Batkley though high school and Penn State and was happy to see him make it to the big league. He always played hard. Yes I am from his area.

    I’m rooting against the three-peat. My ideal situation would be a tie where neither team could claim a win. (Yeah, I know the tie-breaker process . . . )

    My DW grew up in Philly and still has friends and family there so for the sake of peace in the house I will root for the Igles!

    Off topic from the off topic football thread - Mavs traded Luka for an older, injury prone Anthony Davis and one first round draft pick. Only one draft pick? The Mavs made a horrible move. People in LA must be laughing their butts off right now.

    Unless there’s something we don’t know, that doesn’t seem like a very good deal for Dallas.
