Hi, I go by Kimberly, recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Currently I take Metformin 3-4 times a day with Novolog for mealtime carbs on a sliding scale and Lantus for Long acting @bedtime on a sliding scale. Its been a rather hard journey for me so far, recently spending 4 days in the ICU with my 2nd DKA. I am hoping to find some friends to help me along on my journey to feeling better and I hope to support others as well. Thanks

    That is all pretty scary with the DKA.

    How are your numbers doing?

    We can all relate to the diagnosis taking the wind out of your sails a little. Have you made changes in diet or exercise?
