March Week 4 Group Challenge - Pick a Color Nutrition Challenge

This week we're having a Nutrition Challenge. Each day this week, I'll name a primary and secondary color. Try to build a menu for that day using those colors. Now of course, you likely won't eat JUST those colors, but try to build them in as you can. Have fun and get creative. Report in daily and advise how your built your menu and if it was a challenge that day or easy peasy.

The eyes on the cucumber kittens are kinda freaking me out! 😮 Too real looking, I wonder what they used for the ones in the bottom right corner? 🤔

This should be fun and an easy one for me, I eat lots of colorful fruits and veggies.
Sunday, Mar 23rd - Primary Green, Secondary Red : Spring baby greens salad with Red (really purple) onion for dinner. I also just had some delicious watermelon.

Salad with romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes.

Sun:
I've been on a crazy salad kick lately, so I had a big romaine mix salad (with radishes, carrots) in it, cheese, a few croutons, bacon bits and light ranch dressing…nothing red though…I don't eat tomatoes…
Also had a honey hot chicken sandwich and whatever is in the lunch meat is red, so I guess that counts…probably some sort of hot pepper.
For my 2nd meal, I had one piece of chicken, a handful of lightly salted chips and a half sandwich of chicken salad.

Green: lettuce in my taco salad
Red: salsa with tomatoes, peppers, onions
