    Thu (Green/yellow):

Today for my first meal, I had turkey and melted cheddar sandwiches and some lightly salted ships.

For my second meal, I had baked chicken thighs and buttered peas. So, I hit both green and yellow today!

Friday, Mar 28th - Primary Blue, Secondary Purple

On Friday for my first meal, I had turkey and cheddar sandwiches and lightly salted chips. For my second meal, I had two small pieces of fried chicken (leg and partial thigh) and a large salad with romaine lettuce, radicchios (that was my purple), carrots, cheddar cheese, a few croutons and light ranch dressing. Nothing blue today. Nobody answered my question posted yesterday…

Saturday, Mar 29th - Primary Purple, Secondary White

Today, for my first meal, I had a turkey and cheddar sandwich, some lightly salted chips and a banana. My bread, chips and turkey were white.

For my second meal, I had two pieces of baked chicken (thighs), a handful of Doritos and a sandwich, because I was anxious to try a new lunch meat. It's Boarhead Buffalo Breast of Chicken and although I was wary, it had just the right amount of spice, which offset the melted cheddar very nicely. It's only 60 calories for 2 oz and since it was sliced thin, that gave me three slices! Didn't have anything purple today.

Hope you enjoyed this challenge as I did, since it was a tad unusual. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

My phone or this app is acting up, making it hard for me to type this!

    Favorite veggie is Artichoke

    Favorite fruit any berry 😋

    Saturday

    Purple: none

White: hemp hearts, plain greek yogurt, string cheese, halibut

Maybe because I don’t get to do it often, I think the colorful foods that make me happiest are those that I can pick fresh and taste immediately.
