Hello everyone,
I've been on this Weight-loss journey a long time. My highest weight recorded was (400 lbs). I lost the first (89 lb) with no major issues.
Then I plateaued and stayed at (311 lb) for quite a long time. I restarted my weight loss journey a few weeks ago and have lost another (31.2 lbs.)
Around two months ago, I had an accident and broke a toe on my left foot and I've been going to the Dr's office a few times a week to treat wounds that I got on both my feet from the accident.
Being diabetic means the healing process is very slow and may still be a few more weeks before I can do any type of exercise.
I appreciate the chance to be apart of this group and to see what May's will bring.

Hi everyone. Sorry for the late introduction, life is hectic at the moment!
I'm a 30 year-old mum of four, I work and study and im hoping to lose the last 10-20kg I am away from my goal weight. Recently joined a gym and a mums fitness group aswell. I'm always looking for ways to stay motivated, and hoping to find ways to stop snacking as I find it my biggest issue!
Can't wait for the May challenge 😁

Also think about if you would be interested in joining the step team. You pledge how many steps you will get every day and then post at the end of the week (Sunday or Monday). It's a great way to hold yourself accountable to movement!

Work was busy today, but staying busy keeps me from snacking! I was able to walk on lunch and also went to my body pump class 💪🏻
It has been goregous weather wise here and we spent the day at the park. I found this guy in my yard as well! (I don't think I posted this before)

Hi Everyone! Thank you for the add to the group! I thought I would tell you a little about myself. I am 49 and will be 50 this September! I would love to be 50 and Fine by then lol. I have fought my weight since elementary school. It's really annoying. I finally got my act together during covid and lost 54 pounds! I moved to the beach, was tan and looking great! I felt great too! I was finally happy. Then I lost my son at 28 to depression, or drinking too much, or something. I have no idea why, but he did it. My entire world was shattered. I turned to food to numb the pain and now I am back up to 261. I was 270 but trying to lose. I got married and moved in with him. I have a wonderful job and the sweetest grandkids. I have a lot of joy in my life. Have you ever been happy and sad at the same time, all the time? Well that is me. Happy/Sad. But, the weight piled on and now I am miserable again! I just had ankle surgery and will be out of my boot in 2 weeks. I hope I can start exercising!
I hope this group will allow me to meet new friends, give me encourgement to stick with it and lose the weight! Thank you for welcoming me!!!!
I love crusing, taking RV trips, concerts, and planting flowers! Oh yes, and the beach!!!!!!! Can't wait to start this month off with a bang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure why it made it this big. This picture was Easter :( and the one below was in 2020 when I felt amazing!!!! I want to get back to that! Happy too

How is everyone's week going so far?
Today was my 1/2 day at work (every Tuesday) which I am very thankful for. I love having some time off during the week to go shopping or just get out when a lot of others are at work. Hubby and I went to home depot and got some dirt to transplant our peppers, so now we have our peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, and onions ready to go! Just waiting for time for them to continue to grow and give us some veggies!
What is your favorite veggie? Mine is zucchini!
We also went for a 2 mile walk together which was nice. It was another beautiful day outside! Soaking up all the vitamin D I can before it gets too hot 🌞
