I'm up 2.4 pounds—eek! I'm hoping this is just some "post-wedding-attendance" residual. At the same time, I have been a little off my game in recent weeks, and so it's time to get refocused. We had a lot going on with my daughter's wedding a few weeks ago, then Passover, etc. Now those things are done. However, we have a new "stressor" that we've added to our plates: we've decided to move to Israel! We're going to put the house on the market and get ready to leave by mid-August. Also eek!

Up two, and up four over two weeks. I've been running three days a week on a training plan, and that's going well, so, logically, I can just eat whatever the *kitten* I want, right?

Steve - setting aside the home sale, that’s a major shift right there! Wow - not sure what to say, other than I hope it brings you everything you hope and nothing you fear.

My situation is a lot less dramatic, but in the interests of accountability, I’m sharing what I’ve been doing in my absence and what I plan to do going forward.

I’ve been struggling since after Christmas.  Seems a bit ironic; I got through the holidays, and THEN had issues.   I weighed in “free” so far through the first quarter, but haven’t for April.  Honestly, I stopped posting specifics about my weight because it was senseless to whine about it if it wasn’t doing what I needed to manage it.

The essence of it is that I’ve been living as if there are boundaries to what I can eat and remain at goal.  Most days are fine, and then I’ll have an urge to have a candy bar - or two.  Once I start, it continues, although this different foods.

But I haven’t been doing what I know works.  I know what zone I’m in (duh - Red) but I have not been holding myself to my Red Zone action plan.  Instead, I’ve been trying little fixes and rules to patch things - things like lowering my points, which hasn’t helped if I don’t accept it as a boundary.

As they say - this happy 🐎💩has got to stop.

So back to my Red Zone plan.  I’m going from weight loss points to my “normal” maintenance points, but based on the Red Zone plan, I’m limiting myself to daily points.  Since I normally earn between thirty and fifty activity po8nts a week, I’m thinking that creates enough caloric deficit. It’s also being true to what I believe.  It offers enough flexibility that I should have fewer food urges to deal with.

Down 1.6 lbs this week. I'be been trending down the last 2-3 weeks but I've been on two different antibiotics. One for urinary infection and the other one for an infection with my knee from a pretty bad fall. My appetite has been lacking as well. On to another week.

Steve... I'll pretty much repeat what Charlie had to say. Well look forward to watching your progress.
