I like bananas, and I buy 5-6 each week to nibble on at various times.

To my knowledge and memory, I have not run into the negative characteristics.

    Two thoughts:

    (1) The article is from the UK. I haven't seen a Mars bar in the US in years, but I remember them fondly.

    (2) I'll give you my banana when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. 🍌🍌🍌

Likewise. One a day, in my oatmeal bowl.

I eat a banana every day, but the whole “timing” thing is interesting - and credible, to my experience. Guess I’ll go more aggressively green when I’m buying bananas for the last few days of the week.

This has to be one of those "does it pass the 'make-sense' test" issues for me. For someone with no major medical issues, it's hard to argue that any fruit is bad for you. Sure, overconsumption of anything isn't great, but I think this is one of those cases where the concerns they raised are just such a non-issue that it's not worth worrying about.

Remember when bananas became a zero-point item on WW? There was such an uproar. Yeah, as if bananas made me fat! I'm pretty sure it was the pizza, fries, burgers, etc.!
