WEIGH IN UPDATE
WEIGH IN REMINDER FOR TOMORROW TO @vegan4lyfe2012 @bobboyardee @AnAbsoluteDiva @AustinRuadhain0 -
Hi everyone! The flips to a next month are always slammed with two spreadsheets and two threads going at once, sorry for falling behind. I'm Kathy, I co-captain Mission Slimpossibles with my awesome friend @trooworld and our motivator is my amazing friend @micaroo4 who is one of our Queens of Maintenance. I'm 53 and live with a roommate and two cats in the Sacramento area of CA. I assist with claims part time and do a bit of office work in exchange for treatment/supplements/education with a functional medicine practitioner. I'm an avid gardener and volunteer at the food bank farm at the farm and in the greenhouse, have a couple beds at the local community garden, am active in the garden club, and have a big garden at home (realizing how dweeby I sound, haha). I love reading as much as gardening both fiction and non fiction, research health issues to improve pain and other health issues I'm working to improve, and love all kinds of music though metal is my fav especially live!
Let's slay our goals this May!
We're kicking this week off with Mel Robbins 7 day Reset which can be found here:
You can print a 1 page summary by selecting The 7 Day Reset at this address: https://www.melrobbins.com/downloads/

I forgot to explain weigh ins! If you have any issues weighing in please let me know. Unless you’re out-of-town or seriously unable to weigh in please try to weigh in preferably on time or notify me in advance as I have to report late or reasons for not weighing in so it can be handled on the spreadsheet and it takes from the time I have to spend with the team which I treasure. If you’d like to change your weigh in day I can handle that too. If you go two weeks with no contact or weigh ins you will be dropped from the team. If you decide to come back you can be reinstated to the team at any time (doesn’t need to be the start of the month), we love when our Mission Slimpossibles family comes back so please do!
@DrewsAnna I love the colors in your MIL’s project they’re beautiful and relaxing! Oh no I hope you’re feeling better soon! Congratulations on 10lbs down!
@vegan4lyfe2012 I’m curious to hear what you learn from the Whole Life Club very cool! I’m sorry to hear about the fridge but happy to hear you love the new one. It will be extra pretty with a lot of beautifully colored fruit and veggies in there!
@trooworld I loved seeing your weigh in this week the 200s are almost in the review mirror! All this pineapple talk is making me hungry for one. Thanks for filling me in on the Leslie Sansone videos, they look awesome! I think I’ll save the free trial to after I get my garden in, I should be able to stand more then. It’s funny I almost got a pumpkin on a stick for me too and was debating on keeping the one I got my friend, she loved it so much giving it to her was a better gift than keeping it. I DID win a dragon fruit plant though! Thanks the fundraiser was fun it’s an awesome group. Oh NO I’m so sorry to hear your knee was hurting, I know that’s discouraging. The cortisone shot sounds like a good call, is this the first day it’s hurt in awhile? Do you get knee pain with rain? It sounds from the exercise you were still able to do a lot so I’m suspicious of the weather causing issues. I hope the opening was a wonderful time for you, so exciting!
@TeresaW2024 Oh my gosh how scary for you and Joe! Wow I’m surprised they even mentioned a surgery team right away that’s awful, I highly recommend some PT or at the least doing some stretching/strengthening if he’s willing to especially upper back and neck stretching. Is he hurting from it? I hope he’s feeling better from Wednesday, wonder if he could’ve been fighting off an infection somewhere else in his body? I think getting him moving around is a great idea. Busy day good luck with the project you and your sister are doing with the Christmas stuff! Food Forests the Permaculture group is raising money for a food forest which is an outdoor classroom designed to educate students on the principles of a more permanent agriculture community through useful perennial and annual plant species intentionally designed to work in concert with one another mimicking a natural forest ecosystem while providing for human needs. A summary on their website say it’s “community resiliency, food and future security and abundance through permaculture education and demonstrations.” Our community does a Big Day of Service where the community comes up with local projects to make the community better and the Permaculture group is planning a food forest so they’ll need trees/bushes/etc. Ironically I went for free with the tickets for a friend and I, won a fancy plant, then went to buy a few plants only to help them raise money and they didn’t have change so I got 2 ground cherries for free. Hopefully they’ll get a lot of donations for that day!
@sleepygirl79 I think the more you track the easier it gets to do it especially when you have all your regular stuff in the database here. It may be worth calling your doctor about the approval though if you’re still debating on using it you may not be in a rush. I hope to see you more here I always enjoy your posts.
ICE BREAKER QUESTION: HOW DO YOU RELIEVE THE STRESS OF YOUR DAILY LIFE? Workouts, gardening, music, reading, and kitty cuddling! Also listening to calming music.
@txcritter69 That’s wonderful Wegovy is working well for you too. Hm maybe you can get some clothes earlier at a second-hand or thrift store? I love the confidence if your post wtg!
CONGRATULATIONS MISSION SLIMPOSSIBLES IN 1st PLACE FOR THE LAST WEEK! @txcritter69 @trooworld @bethanie0825 awesome job top winners!
FOR APRIL MISSION SLIMPOSSIBLES IS 1ST PLACE, WOW! You GO @bethanie0825 @trooworld @golf2bFit (not sure who you are but you did amazing too whatever team you’re on!) @txcritter69 @Cornanda @golf2bfit @trooworld amazing job being weeks in the green!
@golf2bFit You aren’t currently on Mission Slimpossibles spreadsheet so I’m guessing it was an accident, if you ARE on MS please let me know so we can get you on the spreadsheet. Thanks!
MEL ROBBINS 7 DAY RESET WORK- I did the brain dump, I have a ton of gardening/cleaning stuff to do but have been dragging my feet on looking at cars so decided to pick that. My Dad’s going to financially help as he wants me to hurry because of the tariffs likely increasing car prices soon. I found a few possibilities on Car Maxx and sent them to him but now he’s hesitating. My car is a 1999 Toyota Camry but it only has about 70,000 miles and runs great so aside of the possible tariff increases I’m not feeling rushed.
It’s way past my bedtime but was worth it to get caught up! The fundraiser was fun last night, we ended up with a group from the garden club at a table and one-by-one people would come sit with us and jump in, it was a lot of fun. An herbalist served the most delicious tea ever (sells jars for $40 so I was hoping to win one but that was the first raffle prize chosen). The co-founders of the group are real neat people, one talked at the garden club recently about his time in African making a food forest which was fascinating. SO I saw this cactus and had asked what it was as I get my dad a cactus/succulent each year for father’s day. Turns out it was dragon fruit plant which I WON in the raffle! The person who donated it did a rare fruit talk for the garden club last month which was fascinating and I told him since I’m growing elderberry and goji berry for the first time I had my hands full and didn’t want to buy rare fruit plants last night. If you’ve never seen a dragon fruit plant here it is, talk about intimidating! There was a tag that said sunscreen so I found the grower on Instagram and asked which plant sunscreen he used and what variety it is as he left early. I tried to talk my Dad into growing it since he loves cactus and succulents so much but he said he’d get a cutting when my plant is big.

I did the brain dump, and since we are going on a road trip starting on Friday, the top priority items on my list are ones related to the trip - prepping and packing. I divided my brain dump into 3 categories: House, Work and Travel. Only the MUST DO items will get my attention for the next 4 days. And then we hit the road, so it will be drive, drive, drive for 2 solid days.

Congrats to the whole team for achieving 1st place for the week AND the month of April! A special shout-out goes to @txcritter69 and @bethanie0825 for leading the way! And way to go @txcritter69 @Cornanda for being in the green all the weeks in May.
@sleepygirl79 Congrats on the loss! I had plantar fasciitis for about a year, what helped me was doing stretches for it.
@DrewsAnna I'm glad you are feeling a bit better.
@Katmary71 Thank you! I am excited! Pineapples are really good right now, at least the ones I've been getting are! Good idea to save the free trial. That's good your friend loved the little pumpkin, it's so cute! Ooh a dragonfruit plant! I wonder if it is hard to grow? I didn't know plants need sunscreen! It is discouraging for my knee to hurt, and you know it's going to take a while to get in to the orthopedic doctor. :( No, it's not the first day: I have been having glimmers of pain here and there for about a week. I haven't noticed if I get pain when it rains...maybe? Thank you! Wow, that's great your car only has 70,000 miles on it! My car is a 2021 and it has more than that lol.
Hello all. I also did the brain dump, I used ChatGPT to organize my thoughts. I found it helpful. It did indeed rain yesterday so we didn't go to the animal event. We did go to the art opening, it was fine. I sat and talked with another artist while I was making an art piece. That was fun. For dinner, I made Black Pepper Stir-Fried Udon noodles and added shrimp for protein. They were really good and easy to make. A bit spicy because of the amount of black pepper it recommended but nothing I couldn't handle. Today, I am off because the handyman is coming: our front door won't lock (the metal security door will, but not the inside door) and there are several other things he has to fix around here. Hopefully, it won't take the whole day, and I can go out and do something fun.
Tracked yesterday? Yes!

Congratulations, Slimmpossibles, on winning first place last week and being #1 in April! Let’s do it again!!! 🤩🤩🤩
@19shmoo69 An 8 lb. pillow would need some serious adjusting, and how smart of you to use the power of tiny feet! 😀
@Katmary71 Joe isn’t hurting, but his right hand is losing its ability to hold things since his fingers are often numb. He is learning to eat with his left hand, which is much less frustrating. Thanks for the advice to do some stretching in his back and neck. I will see what I can get him to do. I will ask him if he wants to do something, and he will say, “No, that’s OK,” and I’m like, “Wrong answer, buddy!” 😀 Wow, I have never heard of a Food Forest, and it’s so cool! What a fantastic community you are involved in. I hope you find the perfect car! That dragon fruit plant is so awesome! It looks like it will get huge. How big is your yard anyway? 😂
@trooworld I need to check out ChatGPT now that I keep hearing about it. Do you have a free or paid subscription? Your dinner sounds tasty! 🙂
Good morning! I did my brain dump, and what stood out the most was wanting to get my house deep cleaned before Joe’s family visits next month. So, I made a list and will begin today! I had another three-hour Zoom meeting last night. It went a little better, but was still frustrating due to poor sound quality. At the end of the meeting, I told them I didn’t know if I was contributing much due to the sound and lack of visibility, and maybe I shouldn’t be a part of the team. That was instantly shot down, and pastor called me after the meeting and told me they would buy a better mic and that he wants me on the team. I’m the only staff member who has been there for years and has a perspective they value. I agree they need me, so hopefully next time will be better. I’m off to get Joe up and do a workout. Have a great day! 🙂2 -
Hi 👋
I never made it outside yesterday, it was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Today, really is going to be around 70° which is perfect for me. I don't know what I want to do though. Hhmmm... I'll figure it out, lol.... I just want to enjoy the sunshine 🌞 ☀️
Wednesday, is my appt at the weightloss clinic, I'm excited to finally be getting the help that I need.
Y'all have a great day 😀

@DrewsAnna The weather sounds perfect I hope you have a great time in it!
@TeresaW2024 Haha I hope Joe can be talked into stretching! Maybe you can find a bubbly instructor on YouTube, good luck. Thank you! Haha my yard isn’t THAT big, I’m actually thinking of growing it at the community garden so everyone can enjoy it. I’m so glad your pastor took your concerns seriously and reassured you, I’d want to always have you on my team too and feel the same!
@askewcr You’re good I saw your weigh in on the old chat plus I think Lauren caught it and added it before the spreadsheet closed Sat night/Sunday morning. I hope your being out of town was a fun trip!
@trooworld Oh my gosh your commute I can only imagine your mileage! Shoot I wish it was weather pain, having to have shots here and there isn’t fun but if you can do that and get by maybe you won’t have to have surgery for awhile? Just keep reminding yourself of how amazing you’ve been doing since surgery with your knee and how worse it would be with the extra weight, you’ve definitely been doing your part! I’ll have to try ChatGPT for the dump that’s a great idea!
@micaroo4 Great job on the brain dump! I hope just having the must do items helps with getting ready for the trip.
Hi team! I went for my allergy shot this morning then got a call to get my next fitting with my dentist for my partial. I talked to my Dad on the way and we decided to go to CarMax and we went up and down the aisles checking out everything then I took a Toyota Corolla for a drive. For some reason all the gray cars are on hold so I figured I’d at least get an idea how it handles on the road as anything too “bouncy” would cause a lot of pain and is definitely not what I want. I have it narrowed down to Toyota Corolla or Camry and Honda Civic. I’m going with my friend tonight to get some outdoor furniture for the community garden, hoping it’s some good stuff! It’s her birthday today so I said yes even though I’m not feeling too hot. I actually DID get my doctor’s appointment as there was a cancellation tomorrow so hopefully the tests will get moving!
7 Day Reset: I actually went car shopping! I was curious to drive a Corolla, my Dad and I were joking about how less bags of potting soil would fit in a Corolla than a Camry but that’s ok. There’s a few I loved that are reserved so I’m planning to stalk the site and try for it. Still have a workout and dinner to plan and time to rest. I’m going to count hanging out with my friend tonight as my connection though I really need a bestie phone conversation soon.
Have a great Tuesday!

@Katmary71 , good choices for cars. I think you can never go wrong with a Toyota or Honda. It looks like I’m going to buy a car, too. See below. ;) I’m glad you got your doctor’s appointment and hopefully will get the tests you need. 🙂
Good morning! I am not surprised that my weight is up after Joe’s hospital visit and that I am not caring this week. I will try to be better this week. 🤐 So our fear happened, and my niece’s car has been totaled. Her extended warranty paid it off, but now we need to get her another car. She wants a Ford Explorer like she had, and because the thought of her paying outrageously high interest offends me so much, I will see what I can do to co-sign with her or my sister. Joe has a doctor’s appointment today, and I need to run to Aldi to wash my car. Have a good day! 🙂0 -
@txcritter69 I really posted this yesterday but I accidentally posted it in another group lol. Congrats on your progress!!!

@askewcr Congrats on the loss!
@TeresaW2024 I have the free version...there is a limited amount of questions you can ask with the free version but you can ask quite a lot. I find it very helpful! Dinners have been tasty lately. :D 3 hour zooms should be illegal lol. I hope they can work out the sound issues. Sorry about the gain and the niece's totaled car. Good luck with the car shopping and errands!
@Katmary71 Yeah, I run through a lot of oil changes and tires lol. Yeah I hope to put off surgery. I found ChatGPT helpful, it organized my brain dump into priorities that were (mostly) helpful! I think those are all reliable cars, I'm glad you found out what you wanted and will cause you the least amount of pain. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well.
Hi all. The handyman got everything done but it took all day and instead of fixing the toilet, he had to replace it so that was an extra cost. But he is very reasonable in his prices so it ended up being less than I expected, so that was good and now we have a brand new toilet. I did have time after he left to go drop off a prescription at the pharmacy but that was about it. I made an excellent Asian Chicken Salad from Skinnytaste last night:
I really liked it. I will have the leftovers today for lunch. I made an appointment with the orthopedic doctor but it's not for another 3 weeks due to my schedule. :(

BBQ season is approaching. Time to think about your game plan. How do you handle eating out or social events while staying on track with your goals?

How do you handle eating out or social events while staying on track with your goals? If it's an event where I can bring a dish, then I know that there's at least Something that I can eat that will be on-plan, and I can build a meal around that by choosing carefully from the other offerings. Dining out, I look at menus online and plan ahead; I also ask for a box and bring home half the entree. I also plan my exercise around the social events - making sure I get a workout in the morning, and if possible a walk after the meal, and if time allows, some other workout after the event is over and I'm on my own.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE EATING OUT OR SOCIAL EVENTS WHILE STAYING ON TRACK WITH YOUR GOALS? I’m not currently doing great with it though when a friend and I went for ice cream last night I got a small blizzard instead of a bigger size. I look at menus ahead of time and try to let myself not be too strict or I’m more likely to go overboard if I go off plan. Luckily I’m usually in charge of veggies or salad so I try to eat a lot of what I bring. At restaurants I tend to pick healthier stuff and if there’s chips or bread I’ll have a little and stop. Alcohol I usually just have one. I DO have a sweet tooth and would rather have salmon and broccoli for dinner then have dessert so it’s balanced a bit.
@micaroo4 You really have it down for staying on track your answer is awesome!
@trooworld Thank you! I’m glad things worked out with the handyman and it wasn’t too expensive to purchase the new toilet. That salad looks delicious! LOL I think it was my intro that I posted in another group before, it’s pretty easy to do that if distracted!
@txcritter69 Congratulations on 20 lbs down!
@TeresaW2024 Thanks! Oh no I’m sorry to hear your niece’s car was totaled! That’s amazing of you to help her out, I hope there’s a ban on anyone else driving the next car. I hope Joe’s doctor’s appointment goes well, does he seem to be doing better today?
@AustinRuadhain No worries thanks for the weigh in! I hope you’re feeling better when you read this. You’re the first of the Monday crew to weigh in believe it or not!
7 Day Reset- Aside of browsing on Car Max I haven’t done anything for the challenge today. Ran around all day and class is in a bit, was hoping I could squeeze a nap in but I think I won’t wake up for class if I do. I AM going to do some recipe searching and workout browsing.
Have a great Wednesday!

I thought I’d share an easy recipe with all of y’all. I was trying to find a way to make it vegan because @vegan4lyfe2012 is awesome but I’m not sure if tofu would replace the eggs. I think it would but don’t hold me to it.
If there are any others with a similar meal plan as mine, I used butter instead of olive oil.Be sure to doctor it up with whatever spices and herbs you like. Also let it sit in the fridge for a day.

Hi 👋
Yesterday, I decided to go get a haircut, I had hubby drop me off and I walked to the grocery store afterwards. The intention was to get a couple of things and walk home. Lol… I bought more than I had planned and called hubby to pick me up. Lol… I did some walking though.
Today, I planted the flowers I bought yesterday and pulled some weeds from my "jungle" as hubby calls it.
Tomorrow, is my appt at the weightloss mgmt clinic. It's been a long wait and I'm excited that it's finally here.
Y'all have a great evening 😀

Maintenance Goal 135 - 140
Weeks in maintenance 18 of 52PW: 136.2
CW: 137.6It took 71 hours to get our cable fixed. I called and asked for a refund for the hours we were without cable, and they gave it to me. Then I changed our plan and saved 42 dollars a month. It's been cold and raining here. More weeds have popped up in the yard. Hub bought me some 1 year weed killer after it warms up a bit I will try it. I was sad to read about the geese. We have wild mallard ducks, and the wild outdoor cats kill the babies. One year a mama duck had 12 babies, and they lived until they got big enough to fly away and we never saw them again. They used to come every day to our creek and go swimming. My husband likes to feed the wild ducks.

@Katmary71 That's great you got a small blizzard instead of a larger one. Thanks! The salad was really good, I'm going to have that again soon. Yes, it is easy to do lol. And embarrassing! :D
@FushiaKat That's great you saved money on your cable.
DISCUSSION QUESTION: How do you handle eating out or social events while staying on track with your goals? I try to bring something I know I can eat. Then, I take a little of anything else I want. With having had my surgery, I will need to avoid anything with BBQ sauce on it so that will make it slightly easier in some ways.
7 Day Reset- I looked at my braindump and crossed off a bunch of stuff that I had already accomplished between the time I wrote the braindump and now. There were a lot of things I crossed off and it felt good! I also crossed off "Clean the blinds" as I'm not going to do that any time soon (although it does need done). For today's challenge, I am focusing on continuing to exercise daily.
Hi all. Yesterday felt like a Monday, it was busy and I didn't get much done. Today will be better. I had made a plan to do some sort of exercise before work but that's not going to work out: by the time I wake up and am ready to do something, it's time to get ready for work. Instead, I did a 17-minute beginner pilates YouTube video yesterday after work. Between trying to walk on my work breaks and doing something after I get home from work, I should be able to get exercise every day. I don't always take my work breaks, though.
Tracked yesterday? Yes!

@Katmary71 Oh, yeah, there will be a strict rule that only my niece and sister can drive her new car! 😕
@DrewsAnna I hope all goes well with your weightloss management appointment. 🙂
@FushiaKat That is a long time to be without cable! I’m glad you were able to get a refund and save money going forward. That is sad about the cats killing the baby ducks! ☹️
@trooworld It has to be so hard to figure out exercise with your commute and work schedule. Just remember that doing something is always better than doing nothing, so don’t be hard on yourself when you can do as much as you want on any given day. 🙂
Good morning! Joe’s oncologist was unhappy that he had lost 10 lbs in the last month, and we reviewed ideas, like high-protein yogurt drinks. His appetite was much better yesterday, and he understands that he has to eat, so hopefully he will. I, on the other hand, can’t stop eating and have got to get my act together! We didn’t make it to Aldi yesterday, so I will run up there this morning after my workout. Have good day! 🙂

@TeresaW2024 – Poor Joe. I hope he got his Root beer float! I'm glad the pastor is finally gonna get a better mic for you.
@trooworld - I always go with fresh pineapple and cut it up myself. You never know how long the precut pineapple has been sitting there. Thanks for the link to the video. I'm gonna check that out.
@Katmary71 - Those are eggplants? That is wild! I have never heard of such a thing! That was sweet of you to get the wigs for your roommate. I hope she likes them. Wow! That's awesome your car only has 70,000 miles on it. My car is a 2012 Ford Escape and I'm at 245,000 miles on it. I'm hoping to get another two years out of it. My mechanic said that he thinks I will since I always make sure to get things fixed right away and to do proper maintenance. My daughter has a Civic and absolutely loves it. So there's a vote for that one! That dragon fruit looks wild, too!
@19shmoo69 - those are some seriously adorable little tootsies on your pillow! I appreciate you trying to include me, but I'm trying to cut out added oils, too. Is your recipe supposed to be an egg salad? Hunter has made egg salad using tofu before, but even when I wasn't vegan, egg salad wasn't really my thing. I can make a really good vegan chicken salad, though! P.S. Please let me know when you receive Angie's card :)
@DrewsAnna - Let us know how the weight loss clinic appointment went!
I have been having a pretty rough couple of days with my mental health. I'm just going to admit it to you guys. It's extremely embarrassing, but I have an intertrigo rash. It really hurts. I've been putting medication on it. I didn't tell Hunter about it, but out of the blue yesterday, she asked me if I thought about doing something surgically to help me lose weight since nothing has worked for me the past few years. I felt like complete and utter crap. I couldn't sleep last night because I just wanted to cry. So at 4:00am I got onto the local hospital web page that does weight loss surgery. I watched their intro video and answered their questionnaire. At the end it gave me the codes for either the sleeve or bypass. I logged onto my Blue Cross account and entered in the codes. And it figures that neither one of them is covered by my insurance. So I'm back to Square One of trying to make healthy, whole food choices. I'm just so mad at myself for ever having gained the weight back when I had lost 60 lbs before. Thanks for listening to me rant. I’m gonna focus on having foods prepared and ready to go. Also going to focus on eliminating as much added oils as possible as I’ve learned it can really amp up painful inflammation. I'm hoping that will help with my ankle pain.
2025 is MY year!

@bobboyardee No worries thanks for getting the weigh in posted.
@TeresaW2024 Good deal I’m mad at your BIL! I hope Joe does well getting more calories in him so he can add the weight back on. WHY can’t urge to eat be balanced out among people? The higher calorie protein drinks taste good he may like those. I hope you get in the Aldi trip today wish I could go with you!
@trooworld Hahaha when someone posted my intro in our thread for me because it was in the wrong group I couldn’t believe it, makes you wonder what else you do that you don’t realize. What is it about the BBQ sauce you can’t have is it the fat or sugar or something else? That’s awesome you got to cross more off from your brain dump I know that feels great (gettin it DONE!). I second @TeresaW2024 a little exercise is better than no exercise. You seriously do big walks on the weekends which balances out with the shorter amount during the week, be proud of yourself you've been doing wonderful.
@FushiaKat Wow that’s a long time to get your cable fixed, I’m glad you got the refund plus a discount. I hope that weed killer wipes out those weeds! IF it does let me know the name, I'm waging war on the crab grass at the community garden! Oh no I’m sorry to hear that about the wild cats killing duck babies that’s so sad. Very impressive to have 12 babies born and make it! There’s a handful of us who text each other first egg pics then baby ducks/geese and mourn when one disappears. We’ve never had all of them disappear like this and now there’s one random duck in the lake and that’s it. Feeding the ducks is fun (geese are a bit aggressive though!). One of the cute memories I have is last year a family of geese with little goslings would go house to house waiting for the sprinklers to go on and run through them, they figured out our watering schedules had a blast. Can’t be mad at life when you look at the window and see geese having fun in the sprinklers!
@DrewsAnna Hahaha I like that you still did walk a little more than if you took the car that counts! I hope the appointment at the weight loss clinic goes well today, looking forward to hearing about it. Let’s see those flowers!
@19shmoo69 Do you mash or chop up the eggs in this?
Hi team! I went to the garden center to grab some Tulsi holy basil as mine didn’t do well, I have some other forms of holy basil but I like that one for my tincture. Went to the farm and got in cantaloupe then trimmed some of the basil and came home. I’m planning to organize our mushroom growing notes tonight so I’m on early. I went to micro current class last night which was on nerves and tried a program on the functional medicine practitioner’s professional machine she recommended that helped me quite a bit which was nice and has lasted some today. Another long-time farm volunteer stopped when he was walking by and said how well I've been doing since surgery as I wouldn't have been able to be on the ground leaning over Thai basil then which made me appreciate being better than I was even if I'm not where I want to be. Have a great Thursday!
7-Day Reset- I’m going to make egg muffins in a few minutes for my “planned meal” for brunch the next few days. I counted my relax time going with my friend to pick up the table and chairs for the community garden since it was a long ride then we hung out and had ice cream. I just found my workout for tomorrow morning, I have a Sydney Cummings 30 minute upper body and abs workout I’ll do when I get home from the greenhouse tomorrow. I need to find the printout to make sure I’m hitting everything. I’ll do some car shopping tonight too I should probably go back in the next few days and test drive something else.
