Hello. I've been using tirzepatide since the beginner of December. I've lost 41lbs but only 6 since February. I can't crack the 80kg! I haven't been calorie counting, I've been doing my best to avoid it. I eat mostly protein, love chicken, very little red meat, drink 2 ltr of water a day, go to yoga at least twice a week but it isn't moving. Any ideas or do I have to start the dreaded calorie counting? This week make it seem like a diet instead of a lifestyle change! Thanks.

Wow, 41lbs is great!! The main reason we don't lose when we think we should is because we're eating more than we think we are. I've been taking 5mg starting and have lost 30lbs since March, but now I've weighed the same for the past 3.5 weeks, so I know I've started eating more than I should.

It actually doesn't matter WHAT we eat for weight loss, it matters how much we eat. I've been strict about using My Fitness Pal to weigh/log my food, but I find if I don't log, I really tend to overeat. We eat more than we think we do when we try to guess. I try to think of counting calories as less of a chore and more of a tool to help me stay on track. I know my stall has a lot to do with the fact that I stopped logging my food andhave been just eyeballing it.

Maybe just log for a week or two and see if that makes any difference? It can't hurt, right? Good luck!!

I’m about to start 16/8 intermittent fasting with no gluten or sugar in my coffee, as after initially losing 10lbs the first few weeks, I’m also stuck at a plateau. After 40 years of dieting, I think my metabolism has turned to mud. I’m still at a low dose, but will consider increasing the dosage if the fasting doesn’t kick start the weight loss back into motion.

I'm on MJ since April and saw a good drop the first two weeks and since then nothing. I'm also adding intermittent fasting as others have seen some movement on the scale. I'm logging everything and exercise everyday, I hope to see some improvement. My doc is upping my dose to 7.5 this week so fingers crossed that it starts something. However, my BS is so much better (am a T2 diabetic) So if nothing else, my disease isn't progressing. I would just love to see some of this weight come off. Lots of people say just trust the process, I'm trying.
