Hi...I'm Sandy and as you can probably tell from my handle, I love to crochet. I am a nearly 71 year old lady in years, but much younger in spirit. I am divorced with 2 very grown kids and 3 grandkids. I live in NJ, not too far from Philadelphia. I enjoy not only crocheting, but knitting (although I am not as skilled in it), general crafting, music and cooking/baking, which I have to keep in check or I wouldn't lose any weight. And I am a type 2 diabetic, who is trying hard to control my disease, with some success.

    Hi Sandy

    I’m Meg. New to the group. I’m 66 and a quilter, although I haven’t had the time or space to start any new projects in a couple years. I’m supposedly pre-diabetic. I’ve noticed when I eat right (which for me means eliminate simple carbs & alcohol) and use intermittent fasting my A1C is really good. Have you ever read Dr Jason Fung’s book called The Diabetes Code? It made a lot of sense to me.

    Hi, I'm not sure whether this group will be active. I will check tomorrow for any new posts by the owner. If I don't see anything then I will probably clear this bookmark and stick with my other challenges as well as the July UAC group.
