Hi this is Cat, I am working with a nutrition nurse and it helps, mostly trying to up my protein, and not over do 1,200 calories a day. Lost 30 lbs since started here, not always good at recording things. I'm 72 and 5 ft tall , down to 150 lbs now . Do not want to go too far down. Use to be 5 ft 2 , but dealing with osteoporosis and thin bones. Started taken bone meds added to everything else I take to stay healthy. Would not mind being friends.

Hi! I just recently learned about knee replacements, ouch and 2 yikes... Its so hard to stay on track when we hit road blocks, and thats a lot all at once. You've lost it before so you can do it again! Maybe without jogging but now in a different way:) Will you still be able to hike? I went through alot of depression about 15 years ago to finding out i was bipolar, i figured out why i couldnt stay on track or id be absolutely obsessive about losing weight, but then completely give up. I have been back and forth so many times its not even funny, i still have times where im not doing good but im better about talking myself down plus my husband is amazing at helping me out. Having teenagers is probably my hugest mental breakdowns lately!

Have you ever tried FitOn? It's amazing with so many different workout options, it is so good when your limited:) I would have been lost without this app, still would be. That must be so hard to be away from work, what grade do you teach? Best thing you can do is focus on your health:) I wish I had more time sometimes for it, it's a lot of extra work to eat healthy!

I am from Northern Alberta so I know exactly what you mean about the cold and yes dress for it and you'll be fine! Those cold snaps are brutal but for the most part I had to go for at least a 10 minute walk. I moved out of town 6 years ago with the most amazing view of the lake and a great back yard, I hate being inside now! I've always been scared about going for walks tho because we get bears in the area so I'm really trying to get over this fear, I've been just keeping it in my head that my dog will warn me. I'm loving these walks and so is my pup:)

Here are some tricks ive learned over the last few months. When you eat the same meal for breakfast (or anything else) here's an example... Go to yesterday's breakfast, click on the 3 dots (?? I think this is it, I'll double check after I send this), press copy meal, it'll pop up what day to copy to ( click today or tomorrow).

There is also a recipe creator, this is awesome for recipes you make often. The first time takes awhile but it's soooo convenient later on.

I'm not sure why your most recents don't show up mine usually does i think.

I just need someone to check in with. I talk to my husband but it's hard because it's not something he's doing. Summer is always hard for me too.

What kind of workouts are you able to do? What do you do to stay on top of healthy eating? I'm really trying not to deprive myself this time but it's still hard to limit myself.

Anyways sorry about all the rambling! Hopefully we can work together to stay on track of our newish healthy lifestyles:)
