Good morning my friends. Sorry I was a bit MIA this weekend. Busy Saturday with bday parties and events. Was pretty good for all that. Yesterday I was able to walk 9 holes of golf - man was it hot by the end of that and it was only 9AM!!!! Then spent the rest of the day packing boxes for the move. Even with the move I am going to try and keep on track with food (probably not the amount of home cooking I would like this week because eveyrthing is in boxes!) I should be able to get some exercise (other than packing & moving) - might even be cool enough the next couple of days to take the puppies out! That will be nice.

Need to get at it but I hope everyone is doing well and has a great day. Stay with it and stay focused. We can do this!!!!

It sure sounds like you were busy this weekend! Great job on the golf, and good luck with the move!

Diet-wise, my weekend was less than perfect, but I still weighed in at 0.6 less than last Monday. Huzzah! I did Insanity on the days I was supposed to, and rested yesterday like I was supposed to. I did get out and putter in the yard a little, however! My sister's friend came to clean off our roof and everything went into the flowerbed, lol. So I cleaned that out.

Here's to a good day to all of you!

Both of you sounded busy this weekend. I had a good weekend, food and excercise. I joined the biggest loser challenge thread and it starts today. I am trying to get at least 5 miles of walking in daily, they have mini daily challenges wich can give you more points. I am on Team Aqua. This should be fun and should keep us focused for the next 8 weeks.

    Have a wonderful Monday!

My weekend was a lil bit celebratory... so diet wise it wasn't good. We did a lot of walking on Saturday - which was supposed to be my rest day but I didn't feel "rested" so I took yesterday off. Today I did not take off...

    ********************************************************************************************
AM - Jessica Smith - Belly, Buns and Thighs
    PM - Turbo Fire - Fire 45
    Total calories - 721 burned

    ********************************************************************************************
    Goals:
    1) Don't indulge EVERY time I feel the urge - wish I had taken this thought this week

    2) Exercise 5-6 days a week - I did workout 5 days last week

    3) If I drink (on the weekends) - only 3 drinks TOPS!! - I did have 3.5 beers Friday evening

    4) If I'm really good during the week 2 cheat meals for the weekend. - and more than 2 cheat meals.

I also was pretty bad this weekend- alcohol adds up sooo quick! And yesterday I stayed under but wasn't great either. Today I am refocusing and going to do my best!

A few NSVs from the weekend (let's think of the positive ways we've altered our old habits rather than only focusing on our slip-ups!)
-I woke up hungover on Saturday but still got up and went for a long run/walk
-I went to a beer festival on Saturday with unlimited samples, but it I didn't like the beer I was tasting, I poured out the remainder of my sample rather than finishing it (I'm sure that saved me a few hundred calories. High gravity beer=high calorie)
-On Saturday night at a friend's birthday party he ordered tons of pizzas and someone brought a box of pastries and cookies from Panera. I was actually getting really hungry circa 3 am and eyeing the bear claws, but I had a quarter of a chocolate chip cookie and left that room so I wouldn't be tempted anymore. Old drunk me would eat endlessly.

    Have a great day everyone!

So I'm just sticking with this one instead of updating today - let's see what happens.

Tulip - Way to go over the weekend! . Looks like you did pretty well to me !
Bookworm - Love the yard work! Can't wait until I have a yard that I can do what I want with.
Jill - I'll live vicariously through your walking and do as much as I can to keep up! :-) Go get em!!!
dlbaron - yes, alcohol adds a lot of calories not to mentions helps with the munchies. Just a note, the darker the hard alcohol or beer - the more calories (or so I have been told).

I at least managed to get a walk in last night

I am currently at 17.5 miles walking for the month. I'm not including any other exercise in my current tracking even if/when I do it .
Hopefully I can get at least to 50 for the month - I would like to hit the 75 but with the move, I think I'm going to fall short. Hey its the goal and effort right?

I was so tired after work, walk and doing some more packing last night. Work is busy, I need to run an errand but it's cool enough I should be able to get a walk in after work! My daughter finished packing most of the kitchen last night but fortunately I had some good leftovers to have - lunch today too.

Hope everyone is having a great Tuesday.
