Quote Issue in MFP

Anyone else having an issue using the Quotes button in MFP? When I try, I just get a basic error message.

    I can help, but I'm on my phone and it's not my favorite way to use the site.

    Try copying the text you want to quote, pasting into your message, then highlight that text and look for the blue "P" symbol on the left margin. Click there and select the quote block function.

    I'd do a screenshot to help, but ... on my phone that's a PITA.

    Brian - I appreciate it. I can see that I can copy something and use the process you described to get it to indent the pasted material as if it were a quote. Not quite the same as what the Quote button did for us, unfortunately.

    I’ve reached out to the Help desk, so we’ll see what they can offer.

    It feels the old quote function was removed, except for the button.

I can confirm the issue you are experiencing is a known issue with quoting specifically in private groups- we have raised this issue with our forum provider and are expecting to have a resolution in the near future, though unfortunately they haven't provided a hard timeline for when exactly, yet.
