Yo. How'd you do?

I'm up 1.6 pounds. I simply haven't gotten my head into the game, and instead have been an excuse factory of reasons to "unwind" at night with alcohol and snacks. Well, they're not excuses, per se, since much of my stress and anxiety is real at this point, but nevertheless, I could be managing those issues in a more positive way. I'm not sure how to break this current cycle except to keep saying my goals out loud (at least on this site) and trying to start the hard work of actually sticking with those goals.
The one positive, again, has been exercise. I've been getting my runs in pretty much every day (unless it's raining significantly). BTW, does beating one's self up count as exercise too? Inquiring minds want to know! ha ha.

Up/down 0 lbs. Bassically staying the same fluctuating within a 3-4 lb range since January 1 of this year. I am down about 4 lbs since January 1 but for me that's just not getting to move the needle near enough. I've got to get serious about losing weight.

I'm even for the week and happy. It's been a whirlwind of a week with a friend getting a glioblastoma diagnosis. I've been at doc appointments and hospital and doing research. I haven't paid attention to what I've been eating. But I'm craving sugar and carbs and that's never good. There's a treatment plan in place and many people eager to help, so I'll be able to focus this week.

I’m mastered the two step - one step forward, one step back. You could call it maintenance, but not when I’m in the Red Zone, and not when I’m “non-compliant” with my espoused approach.
