Yo. How'd you do?

I'm down 2.2 pounds, which is obviously great, but it's not really because of any great focus on my part…I think it's just my usual bouncing around when I'm not sticking to my plan. As usual, I'm drinking and snacking too much at night. My latest excuse is that I have to finish all of the liquor in the house before we move because it would be a shame to throw away good bottles of alcohol. Ha ha ha. Thankfully, I'm almost through everything, so that excuse will dry up (pun intended) in a few days.
But seriously, it's been hard to get my head back into the game. The stress of moving, plus the Israel-Iran (and Israel-vs-everyone) war, have been challenging my coping skills. It's funny, but I never really thought of myself as a stressed-out person, but clearly this is what's going on. I'd also been struggling with sleep which is also likely a part of it.
In other news, I've still kept up my running plan even with the heatwave we're in. I've been leaving a bottle of water outside the house, and setting up running "loops" so I can stop for a minute and have some water mid-run.

steve - you could also carry the water bottle and do curls while you run. Just sayin’ . . .
I do loops when I walk as well, but in my case it’s so I’m not far from a bathroom if I need it - sort of the exact opposite of what you’re doing. 😉Oh, yeah - down 0.8. Let’s call that rounding error. Still, I was pleased not to be up after a large breakfast at Tuckers and not getting my normal walk in.

Up 1.2 lbs this week. Not focusing at all on food this past week. Lots I could say about this week but I'm just going to leave it to the above statement and move on to the upcoming week.

@steveOmania I've followed Israel and the challenges it has faced for a long time. When you announced you were moving to Israel I really had mix emotions for you. I know however you've made the right decision for you and your family. I for one wish you all the best and already have had you in my prayers for a smooth transition with your move when it takes place.

Down 1.8.
I didn't track, but several times during the week I told myself, "Nope you can't have that." That comment was in response to either wanting junk food or intuitively knowing I'd had enough calories for the day.

Even for the week. The word for the year is “plateau” although I’m down 6.8 YTD
The second half of the year is almost upon us so I’m on track for a 13 lb loss for the year, which would put me within shouting distance of normal weight.
