Beating Summer Heat!

This morning, we decided to beat the heat, and go walking early…like, really early. It was perfect and shady. Loved it and will start making an extra effort to do this at least twice a week outdoors. On the rest of my walking days, it will need to be indoors. June, July and August, in Alabama, is just brutal. How are ya'll doing with your walking this week?

Pic is of Z-dog, this past Fall. She's so serious when we ride….lol. I didn't take any photos of her today because we were training.

    I love my Fitbit Charge 6! It really helps me to track my steps!

    Here is how my walking went (6/22-6/28):

    My plantar fasciitis has really slowed me down due to discomfort, but it's started to improve a little bit more each day.

    I look forward to the challenge beginning July 1st!

    Thank you Walela617 ~ would you consider helping me run this walking group? I am new at this and you seem to have a great grasp on how to share data for the group. I do need some help with keeping this group going, since I am just starting my walking journey. R/ Sofie
