It was still hot here but there was less humidity and a slight breeze. I took advantage.

I totally screwed up. Could you please put in 27 miles walking for my June efforts? Then I will go for 25 miles for July. I am a 2nd Vice Commander for our American Legion Post and have became totally swamped with community and volunteer work. Thanks for all you admins do for us.

I'm back! I little worse for the jet lag but trying to get back in the groove. I walked many miles but I didn't record them. I'm at 30/50 but I should be able to catch up.
@anaconda469 - I've got you updated and your streak is alive.

Finally able to get in my garden physically but the heat and humidity are killer. Stay hydrated everyone.

It has been one busy hot and humid summer. Getting ready for our master gardener’s Garden in the Park day this weekend and Brinkley has been taking scent classes to see if he catches on to it. I want to give him something constructive to do aside from dog obediences He also finished a Parkour session of classes p, but it has been just to hot to run trails and jump over down trees. So we I’ll practice that as the temps coo.He will start Vehicle scent searches in August to help get him ready for a first scent trial later in the fall. Hope all of you have been having a good summer.

And that's goal for @GrandmaJackie - congrats on finishing early!
@clepant - it is so impressive what you do with Brinkley. I wish we had a trainer to help us.
I've contracted Lyme disease. One of the symptoms is extreme fatigue and boy did I have that yesterday. Feeling a bit more like myself today fortunately. I'm at 34/50.

Today we had lower temps and the humidity was down. We are actually getting a low of 58° tonight. I opened windows. I am bushed. Took advantage of the day before it heats up again Thursday and Friday.
@Janet : I am so sorry that you have Lymes. I had a lady get it many years ago when she went to New England. It took years to be diagnosed back then because they had no clue. She had long term side effects from it.
My dog was so sick last year when he contracted Anaplasmosis. It did not show up on two snap tests and finally showed he had it this February when we tested him again. We had a little boy contract Powassom Virus. This stuff is so scary.July 21: 6.5 miles walking

Welcome back, Janet!! 😀 Sorry to hear you came down with Lyme disease! Admittedly, I don't know much about it other than some of the hows & wheres one might get it, but feeling run down is no bueno. Glad you are starting to feel like you're bouncing back somewhat already! Thanks for catching the updates here the last couple of days, too! You beat me to it. Last two days when I went in, you had already taken care of it. 😄 Glad you had a great trip otherwise!
