does anyone here lose weight eating about 50 carbs per day? do you think this is to high? I eat around 50 carbs sometimes less and eat between 1500-1900 cals per day . I do workout 6 days a week also .......do you think this is a good plan?

    I eat a max of 80g of TOTAL carbs and 1600 calories per day.
    My net calories after deducting fiber is around 50-60g per day.

    I am losing, slowly, but I feel that I can sustain this eating pattern for life.
    I know I can lose faster if I drop my carb count a lot lower, but then I know I'd feel deprived of some things I really enjoy.

    what are your protein, fat & carb percentages set at?

    I've been eating 40ish, same as you-feeling deprived isn't going to work for me....but it IS working, . 5lbs in 3wks. Works for me.
