Started Zepbound on 7/3/25
Hi everyone!
Excited to be starting Zepbound! About 20 years ago, I lost over 100 lbs with the help of phentermine, but have since gained it all back plus more. 😭
Phentermine was certainly effective, but I hated the way it made me feel jittery and anxious. I’m hoping Zepbound will be a better fit.
It’s only been a few days since the first dose (2.5 mg), and so far I haven’t noticed any changes in appetite. I’ve heard it doesn’t really kick in until the next higher dose (5 mg), though.
At about 24 hours in, I did start to notice a slightly uncomfortable “heavy” feeling in my gut (not sure how else to describe it!), and then at 3am last night I woke up with an intensely nervous feeling (like my heart was beating too fast). That lasted a few hours and then faded away and now I feel normal. Is that similar to what others have experienced?
I’ll be using an Apple Watch to help track movement, set reminders, etc. If anyone else is using it, let me know if you have any tips!

I have had some more mentally active nights than before being on Zepbound — but nothing involving an accelerated heart beat. I wonder how common it is — I'm a little paranoid about heart issues since they run in my family so I'll pay attention.
I have not yet gone up to 5.0 and I'm going on my third month, and my appetite has definitely been suppressed. Also, I don't think about food as often as I once did. I'm down 12 pounds so far (I have about 60 total I'd like to lose).
How is it going now that you've been on it a couple of weeks? Any changes?

I’ve had super vivid dreams since using Zepbound. I’m down 35 pounds without horrible side effects. I have 40 pounds to go. I’m at 10 mg dose.

I will be starting 7.5 on my next shot. No dreams, just indigestion and acid reflux for now. 🙄

I just started my fifth week on 5mg dose. I am still losing pretty good on it so my doctor kept me at this dose until my weight loss plateaus. I have had very few side effects, except some nausea 24-36 hours after my injection. I have lost almost 20lb so far.
