I am rarely on here anymore, but I saw your post and wanted to respond.

For me, Keto (now more Carnivore) was the answer for my constant struggle with weight. I have lost 100 pounds, and now I am within 2 months of having maintained that loss for 1 year, which is the longest I have maintained weight loss. If this way of eating works for you, you may find the same sort of success. I do have a couple of suggestions. First, focus on eating food you make yourself. When I started out, I ate a lot of the store-bought "Keto" foods. Sadly, those are both ultra-processed, and often they are not keto and will spike your blood sugar and kick you out of ketosis. They can be helpful as a rare treat, but not as a regular part of your diet. Second, realize that the hardest part is the first month. In the first few weeks you likely will have major carb cravings, you will likely miss things like bread and other carb heavy foods, and you may get the keto flu which seems to be a combination of needing electrolytes which you will lose as you dump the water used to store carbs in your muscles and liver and getting away from your carb addiction. Thankfully, usually those things are gone fairly quickly from two weeks to a month in.

    All the best.
