    Weigh In Day: Monday

    PW (Previous Weight): 216.8

    CW (Current Weight): 216.2

    Half expected a gain because I know this week I wasn't very good with my calorie intake! I think I was a bit more active though so maybe that helped! Either way, happy I didn’t have a gain, but know I could do better so I could have a better loss!

    arrived home last night from vacation. I was up early today and hopped on the treadmill. I went to the grocery store and bought fruits, salad makings and veggies. I was staying with my aunt and she does eat pretty healthy so there was a happy medium. I had lots of salads and fruits but I also had lots of rolls. We will see my damage on Thursday when I step on the scale.

    Weigh in day (supposed to be Monday) but actually weighed in Wednesday. I'll be on time next week.

    PW: 270.9 lbs
    CW: 269.6 lbs

    Back down to where I was pre-vacation. I've been still indulging a bit too much in sweets but I will chalk that up to shark week, lol.

    How is everybody? It's been unbearably hot and dry here this week, and there's a wildfire going on at the north edge of the city so all the trails and public lands are closed. I've been doing my best to get my walks done in the mornings before it gets too hot.

    @jennyell85

    I'm doing alright, all things considered. I was on a short little vacation Thursday through Sunday, ate like garbage the whole time, no access to a gym… this week has been all about getting back on routine. I'm still looking for a new job, which is a struggle and feels like a full-time job in itself. But personal training has been going well (thank goodness), and my non-professional life has been quite smooth.

    I am still weighting (ha) on updates from:

    @BodyTalking

    @jsscottjr1988

    @HHdeern66

    @juliakhanna3

    Let me know if you need to be excused for this week, especially if you want to stay on the team! Remember that two weeks in a row without a weigh-in will result in being dropped from the group at the end of the month.

    I knew my weight would not be good after being on vacation for 10 days. I did have salads and veggies but I also ate a lot of bread and alcohol. When I’m in Canada I always like to go on daily walks but I didn’t do that this year because of my back just in case if I couldn’t make it back. Since I’ve been home I have walked on the treadmill everyday. I have been job searching and it is not going well. I have been in childcare for 25 years and I am looking to get out but it’s not easy. I need a new job by Sept 8 so I do not have to back to my job. 2 weeks until my son gets married. I hope I still fit in my dress after the weight gain lol. I’ll have to work hard these next 2 weeks.

    @ljdanny - I am betting that most of that gain is water weight from the new environment, extra salt/sugar, and maybe (just maybe) a bit of actual weight gained from food. It is so incredibly difficult to gain 5 pounds (3,500 calories = approx. 1 lb, so 5 lbs is 17,500 EXTRA calories over maintenance) over the course of 10 days, it's almost impossible that this is a true weight. Be sure to drink plenty of water, help your body process all this extra nonsense, and be kind to yourself. The science is on your side.

    @Schwartzmum @HHdeern66 and @juliakhanna3 - Are you planning on joining us for August? I didn't see anything from you last week.

    @melaniedscott - Same question to you; we can keep you on Support if you'd prefer.

    @micukica Do you have any activity points to report for all of this week (in the Group Challenge that ended yesterday)? You kinda left your partner out in left field. If you need help, please ask for it…we're here to help, but not sure how to do so without guidance. Hope all is ok. We're cleaning up the stats. Let me know.

    Question of the Week: What song always gets you pumped up and feeling ready to move?

    @marlalynns6304 - Hi! You must be a new member, I don't have you listed on our spreadsheet. But don't you worry, I've got you added now! Does a Saturday weigh-day work for you? If not, just let me know and I'll get it changed to whatever you'd like.

    Also hi, I'm Ashley, one of the captains of Team Weight No More and one of the F2F moderators. I'm a scientist and a certified personal trainer, so if you have any questions on how things work, do not hesitate to ask! Glad to have you with us!

    @BodyTalking - I suspected as much, so I have you excused for last week. Glad you could rejoin us this week! Big step up in steps from the beginning of the month, what have you been up to??

    Not a single song in particular. Pretty much any disco music will get me going! (I’ve already told my husband that the inscription on my tombstone should read “she died lovin’ disco”) 🕺
