Down 1.2 lbs this week. I'm basically treading water. Gaining and losing the same 1-3 lbs every week.

I had a loss of sorts this week - I lost access to my Apple Watch to track activity because I sent it in to have the battery replaced. I still exercised, but I don’t know what I “accomplished” in terms of heart rate, duration, recovery, etc. It also means I’m not tracking sleep beyond “am I asleep or am I awake?” Surprising how we come to depend on those things.
I’m slowly concluding I shouldn’t eat just because I have points. That’s an adjustment for me, because the ability to indulge when I had room in my points budget has been helpful. I’m also not particularly attuned to satiety signals. I tried it two or three days this week. I can see it rationally as a good thing, but it feels like I’m giving up flexibility. We shall see.
This next week will be a bit of a challenge. I’m spending Sunday through Wednesday with family, and that brings the old associations of family events where I always used to overeat. Food, snacks, and such will be everywhere, and not just at meals. It will be like living in the three day buffet. My intent is to eat only at meals, and only reasonable portions (he said boldly). We shall see. 🤷🏻♂️
In other news, I lost a little weight this week (beyond just the watch) and eating was on plan. I may have hurt my shoulder patting myself on the back right there . . . 😉
