My First Week on Zepbound 2.5mg
Hello everyone!
My name is Meredith and I am 40 years old. I have been fighting my weight for as long as I can remember. My husband and I started trying to conceive two years ago and I have had two miscarriages. I am hoping that taking care of the weight problem once and for all will help with both my back problems and helping us to conceive.
I have been struggling with my weight, really struggling not just 15lb here or there, for over 10 years. I currently have around 125lb to lose (+/- 10lb because I haven't been a healthy weight since my twenties and I don't know exactly where I will land). I am a very active person; however, I have back issues so my activity can get put on hold quite a bit. So, after struggling with my weight for two years with a dietician and going to the gym three times a week with a personal trainer, my dietician, nurse practitioner and I decided that medication would be the next thing to try. I took my first dose of Zepbound 2.5mg about two days ago. So far just a little nausea. I feel like some of the food noise is gone, but that could also be a placebo effect from just starting the medication while I'm in the "honeymoon phase".
It's a really hard journey when your struggles are with the mental aspect of weight loss. I know what I have to do, I am totally capable of doing it, but sometimes it seems that my brain just won't let me. I hope to connect with everyone here on a regular basis to share in this journey.

Welcome Meredith! How are you feeling now? If you need a sounding board, I am just about a month ahead of you on this journey and am a big believer in mutual support.

Thank you so much @mrslenadorsey having support is always beneficial in my mind. My nausea is settling and I am finding I can't eat as much at one time. I found that the last day or so my appetite seemed to increase a bit. Today is my second injection so we'll see how I feel tomorrow.
