Help needed . . .

I've been plateaued at 180 since July1, and need some input. I am 61 yrs, F, and set a calorie goal of 1600, with an eventual goal of 150.. Should I be losing weight, even if I don't exercise? I know that if I was not logging and trying to get control of my weight I'd be eating a lot more on a daily basis. I know I go over my daily limit about half the time, but most times, not by all that much. Should I reduce my carbs? I am not ready to give up but am totally disgusted with myself. Any help is appreciated.

What's your BMR and TDEE? Also, if you opened up your diary we could give you more specific advice0

Should be open now. Sorry.0

TDEE is 2077.0

Hmmm...your food amounts look pretty good to me. I'm surprised that with that deficit you're not losing weight. Hopefully others can help answer your question, sorry!0

You can lose weight without exercising as long as you have a deficit..
That being said stop eating exercise calories for the time being to see if that is an overestimate. Accurately measure everything you eat (with a scale if possible). Stay within your calorie goal. And try to get more protein in at the expense of carbs. Do this for 2 weeks and see if anything changes.0 -
With no exercise increasing your TDEE, you have a narrow range for losing fat.
Less room for error to still see results.
You admit to going over on eating levels often enough. Do you really log everything?
Do you weigh everything, not going by serving size or measuring, but weighing?
Spend 2 weeks and see how incorrect serving sizes and measuring are.0
