My weight loss

In December I was weighing around 68kg. I weighed myself this morning and my scale said 58.5kg. I am rather pleased.

Yet despite the weight loss my clothes are loser but I am still the same size. I went to try on dresses for a work event this week last weekend and I still look fat in those dressing room mirrors. Maybe because I haven't been exercising and I need muscle.

How do I get over the final hurdle or convince my tired body to go on walks and to gym etc?

The game changer for me was when my sister told me if she doesn't work out in the morning, she won't work out at all. I was all over the place with the time of day I would work out and I could often justify not working out…bad day, too tired, too many appointments. I started moving appointments to later in the day and working out right after my coffee. I have been doing this for a over year now. Over a period of a couple of years I have lost 30 lbs. My weight has been yo-yoing for decades but now with incorporating eating healthy and working out I am at a good weight albeit I would like to lose another 5-10 pounds. Good luck!!!

    Congrats!!!!!

Would lifting dumbbells at home or other forms of resistance training to build those muscles interest you?

I lost close to 20lbs this year, using light weights following short YT videos - Lift With Cee, Fitness Blender, SoheeFit etc, plus daily walks. At 124lb, I def look less fluffy than when I was 115lb and my main workouts where running and Pilates.

Dietwise, I increased my protein range (slowly over several months) from 40-60g to 100-120g. Also my calories from 1200ish to 1600ish. Imho, those also helped.
