From the first posts, it appears that this group - one of the largest groups in MFP - was started on or around November 7, 2011.
What would you say to a commemorative virtual 3.1k race (about 2 miles) on the 6th, 7th or 8th of November? (Meaning you run 2 miles on ONE of those days and post your time here.)

I'm in! C25K was the start of something great for me.0

By the way... I'm writing it in my calendar, so it is official!0

Sounds great - adding it to my calendar now!0

Pretty much everybody who starts C25k today should be running about 2 miles on one of those days anyway.0 -

I am in. I should be done with Zombies, Run! C25K program. Unless this cold side lines me this week. I am trying to not let it win but it is truly draining all my energy.0

More it's about a week after my Tough Mudder, than not thinking I can do it. After 21km's I might still be in recovery and hobble mode LOL
Week and half, so I should be running again by then.. I hope!0 -
Sounds great! Yesterday I completed week 4 of C25K so by Nov I should be ready to go. This group has been a great for my learning to run journey and this will be great motivation to keep me going through the next few weeks :happy:0

Gotcha. Yeah, I should be just running after my half. 2 miles of easy run...I'm not racing this one0 -

All for it. That will be my first 5K and that will be just perfect considering the fact that I will have completed C25K with the support of this group.0

I'm putting my name down for this one!
If it wasn't for C25K and this forum in particular, I'd not be a runner now0 -
I created a thread for us to post our times for our commemorative virtual 3.1K (2 mile) race. From the first posts, it appears that this group - one of the largest groups in MFP - was started on or around November 7, 2011.

Oh, I didn't miss it! I was searching for a 'virtual 5k' thread.0

I thought a 2 mile run might be more achievable for C25kers. I wasn't running more than 2.5 miles by week 9, myself.0
