Are flours that aren't made from grains, such as almond flour/meal and coconut flour okay on this diet? I don't mean as a daily thing, but as an occasional treat? Has anybody tried this? What were your results?

They're OK to use & I really like the results. I have made sweet treats, breads/muffins, pancakes & battered 'n fried meats - all delish! I will be doing keto for a long time so baking/cooking some replacement food, like "cornbread" for example, prevents me from feeling like I' m restricted.

those are the best I believe the other non-grain flours are too high carb.

I love almond flour for the breading on pork chops. I try not to do too many sweet treats/breads very often because I don't want to slip back into eating them as a habit but I think they can be pretty good.
