I tend to agree, it's not complicated. If you burn more calories than you consume, you lose weight. It's not just a good way to diet, it's the law ( of conservation of energy AKA the first law of thermodynamics).
However, we each (as individuals) have to find what we feel comfortable with and what works best for us in terms of diet and exercise to not only lose weight, but to be healthy. And it takes some time and effort to figure that out. My wife longs for the days of the magic pill, but she is doing great figuring out what works for her.0
