weight gains since lifting

I started NROLFW around the end of May, and I have noticed when I weigh myself once a week my weight always goes up then goes down (more than it went up the week before). I think this is great! I'm just wondering if anyone else is noticing this??

There are weeks before I realized this, that I didn't actually log my gains.

    This usually happens for me when I go up in weight or start a new stage. My muscles are sore/holding onto water and I ate a little extra and so my weight will go up a lb or two. Then within a few days I'd drop like 2-3 lbs. Perhaps it something similar with you?
