Hi, I'm Becky. I'm brand new to MFP, but at various times in my life, I've followed the Mayo Clinic diet, which is basically a Low Carb High Fat diet with grapefruit added in. Usually, it helps me with my weight loss pretty well, and I feel so much better when I'm eating this way.
Can this way of eating really be a lifestyle?
Is it truly healthy enough to continue eating this way?
Also, how do I adjust my MFP daily food goals to reflect the LCHF eating plan? What should my values read?

And yes it can be a productive lifestyle!0 -
Yes, you can maintain this lifestyle. Many of us do Atkins which has an ongoing weight loss phase that includes various other food groups for weight maintenance after weight loss goals have been reached.0

In terms of Mayo specifically, i'm not well versed in that and how the grapefruit is incorporated and why.0
