Does anyone have a specific product that they can recommend to deter mosquitos while running? Going to try the repellent bracelets tonight. I haven't been bitten yet but my husband has 20 or so bites on him. Haven't had to deal with them while living in a desert area the last six years. I'm not a big fan of chemicals so trying to avoid the sprays in favor of other options first. But if you know of a good spray go ahead and recommend, it'll be the last line of defense.
Oddly enough I have ran as many times as he has and we walk the dogs daily obviously but I haven't been bitten and he's like a buffet. Not sure the deal there but it can't last forever.

Mosquitos can't fly that fast. You can usually out distance them with a brisk walk. So, I haven't used anything while running. I've tried some of the bracelets but without much success.0

Some people just aren't attractive to mosquitoes, maybe you are one of the lucky ones. I know a lot of people swear by Avon Skin So Soft range, the travel nurse even recommended it to my daughter when she went to Africa.0

I think you're overestimating the speed at which I travel. Which is very kind of you. Will try SSS for DH, he's being eaten alive!!!0

The mosquitos have been very mild here this summer (I'm about half way between Chicago and Milwaukee) My issue is when I run at dusk around the small lake, the gnats are horrible! I can't count how many times I've gotten one stuck in my gum
Usually the mosquitos are bad and Avon's Skin So Soft works really good.0
