I wear a BMF and this calculator is right in line with what my BMF says my average TDEE is.
It helps to know exactly how you're using your energy, though, when using the calculator above. It's only as precise as the numbers you put in.0 -

if you want more than rough 5 levels to select from, based on actualy activity type and time, and starting with best estimate BMR.

because 1 hr of walking is not the same as 1 hr of lifting as 1 hr of running. And what do you do if all or part of 40 hr work-week is NOT sedentary desk job, which the 5 TDEE table is assuming?0 -

Set MFP to sedentary activity level, weight loss goal to maintain.
Go to manually change your net eating calories, take the figure shown minus 15% and enter that.
if you happen to get in any exercise now, log it with same 15% off, and eat it back.0
