Hi there people!
Well...I've done every kind of diet...like most of us... but haven't really been able to stick to low carb even a day!!?? But this time is different. Just a week ago I was determined to be a vegan...how wishy washy is that? But right now i have decided to do what is best for me and not the animals...for a while... and try the low carb. Not the Paleo, but low carb so I can still have cheese and some yummy salad dressings. I had scrambled eggs for breakfast, some plain turkey meat for lunch, stopped at the store and had some amazing cheese samples ... just a little...then made a salad at the store with ranch and bought a piece of fried chicken breast and ate it without the skin. All yummy to me. But usually I am having rice and bread and a lot of carbs.....So i probably know what to do just asking for advice or things that you find satisfying and get rid of that bread and potato and pasta and rice yearning! Oh and today I really did not have hunger pangs after my eggs and later my turkey....not famished at all. PS i'm not much of a fancy recipe type person, I like to throw good things together that are easy and simple. I am happy to eat repeat meals .. over and over... Thanks for any advice/input!

If your committed this time you have to decide what low-carb route you gonna go: Keto/LCHF, Atkins etc. I'm on keto, which is low-carb high fat. I believe it works quite well. Minimal exercise will still produce quick weight loss . But you have to STICK with it for more than a couple of weeks!

This is a good place to start off:

Also I recommend watching Fat Head

Also remember that low-carb means you NEED high fat, the good kind (like olive oil, coconut oil, animal fats, NOT canola/vegetable oils).

Also do research on the different low-carb diets, books, blogs whatever! :)
