I used to live in Alaska and i remember people talking about this all the time. In Kodiak where I lived the most often talked about variant is some type of animal blubber (whale, walrus that sort of thing) mixed with blueberries.
I was never tempted to eat it.

Sorry, but animal blubber just sounds too gross.
I make coconut milk ice cream with just three ingredients, though.
Coconut milk - 2 cans
6 T cocoa
1/4 tsp peppermint extract
Blend. Put in ice cream maker to make ice cream, or freeze as ice pops.0 -
Chan, I might use that recipe but change the peppermint for orange or strawberry flavouring.0
