Introducing Myself

Hi! I'm Jewel, and I'm a Type 2 Diabetic. I was diagnosed 5 or 6 years ago, after having gestational diabetes with both of my pregnancies. My doctor finally get fed up with me not controlling it through diet, metformin and victoza, and put me on insulin last week. I cried in his office. So here I am, learning to eat better and to medicate properly. I'm looking for friends for mutual support and motivation. My diary is open to my friends...feel free to add me.
