question, if you are really trying for the ketosis, is "net carbs" kind of cheating? Do you try and stick to 50 "carb carbs" for that to happen? what has been everyone's experience? What is your carb count for you to lose weight?
THANKS!!

My experience with ketosis is to truly be in it, you need to limit yourself to 25 net carbs a day. No, net carbs isn't cheating. Some people can stay in ketosis up to 50 or so but that is something you would have to find out for yourself. If you really want to achieve that, maybe start out doing Atkins Induction for a couple weeks. Buy you some ketostix at the drugstore. You pee on them and they will tell you if there are ketones in your urine. If there are, you are golden. Then, you could slowly start up'ing your carbs little by little and let the ketostix tell you your limit. (Not a DR, lol, but this is how I have learned to do it)!

Just my opinon, but I think this is a good place to learn about it. http://josepharcita.blogspot.com/2011/03/guide-to-ketosis.html
