What do you do when your sick?

Alright, so I am 12 days in and I have been doing a great job (IMO) and today I woke up to some lovely bathroom issues. Normally when this happens I would try and eat some rice and take some immodium, what do you low carbers do when your sick?

Broth and soups are my go tos. Broth can be good with a little seasoning and it helps to replenish minerals and sodium. I also recommend ginger tea for digestion.

When that happened to me and I ate the BRAT diet I got sicker.

ETA: I throw some veggies in the broth too, for extra vitamins (bell pepper, spinach, broccoli, etc whatever I have), plus garlic and ginger and sometimes coconut oil. I call it my sick soup - works well for colds, too.0 -
