I googled it and found a calculator and found numbers, it appears, I should increase my calories to over 2000??? I am not sure I understand it though. I see all these posts about TDEE and BMR and other letters out there, what is wrong with just counting calories?

This explains it best. I've found that upping my cals has given me more energy, better recovery after workouts, and I'm less hungry throughout the day.

I upped my calories and started seeing a loss as well. Your body needs to be fed to build muscle from workouts. I believe though if you do workout and calculate it in, you wouldn't count your extra workout calories.0
