Working on building muscle/toning

So I've finally gotten to the point where I'm about 5 pounds from my goal/ideal weight and I'm ready to switch to gaining muscle/losing fat. I'm good if I gain weight or stay where I'm at, I'm just ready to start working on the muscle while still losing inches.

I don't do the gym thing but 5 days a week I do 15 minutes of gentle yoga, 8 lb kettlebells for a 15 minute curcuit, then a 20 minute HIIT and a 15 minute walk. On my off days I walk for 15-30 minutes. Is this enough to tone or do I need to be doing more? I don't expect to see 6 pack, fitness guru muscles, but I just want a toned, tighter look.

I'm eating 2,050 calories per day each day and less on the days I don't workout and only walk. I'm getting about 115 grams of protein per day and keep my carbs and fat in check.

155 pound female, 28 years old, 68" tall with a goal weight of 150 (but if the poundage doesn't get there, I'd like to LOOK like I weigh 150!)

Thanks for any help!

If you really want to tone and gain muscle you need to lift heavier weights.
8 lbs Kettlebell is rather light and if you always use the same weight and never increase, your muscles are not challenged any more. This is more of metabolic training than really weight lifting.

Why not look into a good lifting routine like Stonglifts? That's a great programme to start out with and then go from there. Cathe Friedrich has great lifting DVDs if you want to do them from home.

I will look into that for sure, thanks! Is my calorie intake too high for what I'm doing?
