30 Sept
- 15 minutes of interval biking- 60 sec on, 90 sec rest; 40 minutes of strength circuit total body
o [18] felt really fresh, like my muscles had finally had a break to rest a bit, it was actually exciting
31 Sept
- (PT) 3 one mile runs for time, 20 diamond pushups, 40 regular pushups, 20 wide pushups
o [18] Running went really well, I felt pretty quick and was able to keep almost the same time for all three miles
- 12 minute cals circuit 2x through
o [16] my legs were tired from the morning, but still had a good workout

- Did not work out today, needed to sleep in and catch up- got to sleep until 0730, and felt great after that!
3 Oct
- (PT) 50 body builders, 200 m run, 40 body builders, 400 m run, 30 body builders, 800 m run, 20 body builders, 200 m run, 50 pushups, 20- 4 count flutter kicks
o [17] definitely tried hard, but by about the middle I was really struggling and worn out.
- 4 on, 1 off workout for 35 minutes; heart rate 160, 160, 170 – hr went up at end only because I sped up for the last minute.
o [15] I could really feel my legs from the morning workout, and overall fatigue, but mentally I was ready to keep running, and I felt fairly good

- 45 minutes elliptical, 15 minutes of interval biking- 60 sec on, 90 sec rest; 40 minutes of strength circuit total body; 12 min abdominal circuit
o [17] I felt pretty strong and had quite a bit of energy until the last 30 minutes, where I could tell I just needed something to eat

- Navy/Marine Get Some 5k- ran in boots and uniforms
o [15] it was a good “off day” run because we didn’t go very fast but it still wasn’t particularly easy to run in boots.0 -

o [15] was reading textbook while working out and was tired from standing all morning at the marathon

- 45 minutes elliptical; 25 minutes bike intervals- 30 sec on, 4 min off; 40 minute strength circuit total body;
o [17] I was out of breath by end of circuit, my muscles felt fresh and I wanted to push the limits0 -
Your workouts are looking good Meredith. I really like the notes you are taking about how you are feeling. You realize the need for off days and giving priority to sleep if you have been running low.
What is a "body builder", in reference to some of your workouts?0 -

Also, I have to keep a fitness log for my conditioning class with most of the details, so that's the main reason behind all of the information, but after doing it I am enjoying looking back and reflecting on my weeks. The number in the brackets is my RPE.0 -

- (PT) Warrior run- 3.3 miles and pinochle deck workout including body builders, pushups, sit ups, and flutter kicks
o [15] it was a pretty easy run, and I felt good, despite being sick
- Plyometric workout
o [17] I actually enjoyed the workout and pushed myself when we did the box jumps today- I really hate those
9 Oct
- 60 minutes elliptical
o [13] doing class readings on machine, and felt really tired due to sickness
10 Oct
- (PT) 50 burpees, 100 m walking lunges, 20 back extensions, run 400 m and repeat 5 times
o [15] tired and sore today, really not in the mood
- 30 minute continuous activity: elliptical chosen
o [ 15] finished a reading assignment, so working hard but still focused on something else while working out
- Intramural volleyball
o [8] it’s honestly a joke, minimal effort needed
11 Oct
- 45 minutes elliptical; 25 minute stationary bicycle intervals; 40 minutes lifting on machine whole body
o [17] sore from the lunges yesterday, but felt overall good
12 Oct
- No work out today, felt good but very busy all day
13 Oct
- No work out today, needed to let my body relax and had other things I needed to get done leaving minimal opportunity for workouts
14 Oct
- 20 minute stationary bicycle intervals 45 sec on, 1 min 15 sec off; 40 minutes lifting on machines whole body
o [16] felt pretty good but was not in the mood to be at the gym, I needed more sleep
15 Oct
- (PT) 20 back extensions, 30 pushups, 40 situps, 50 squats – repeat circuit 5 times, then run 1 mile for time and group run
o [17] nice workout today, not too tiring as we kept going
- Game day in class
o [10] I was on defense for capture the flag so not too much action most of the time

- did not work out today, needed the sleep instead
17 Oct
- (PT) circuit full of pushups, sit ups, and planks – 40 minutes straight
o [16] I didn’t get my heart rate up, but definitely broke down the arm muscles
- 35 minute steady run – heart rates: 170, 180, 190 at each 10 minute mark
o [18] I actually pushed myself, running about 3.75 miles if including the warm up lap, it felt really good to run hard for a while, I haven’t done that in too long0 -
