I kicked myself out of ketosis, what should I do to get back in?

For me, lots of fat. MCT oil, a couple of tablespoons. But basically just stick to what you know. You'll get back there.0

can't see your diary. are you sure you are really out of ketosis? the longer you've been in it the more unreliable the test strips get. the body starts processing ketones differently and the ketones that are tested for on the strips aren't always produced. (or something like that. I read about it a while ago)
sometimes mine read negative but then will read positive again if I cut down on water for awhile or test on waking. I've had a couple times where I thought I'd finally pushed the carb envelope too far but then without changing anything the next test showed I wasn't out of it after all.
It started doing that a few weeks ago for me, I've been in ketosis now for a couple months.0 -
Go to 20 grams of net carbs per day for at least two days, maybe three and do some exercise (30 minutes cardio or lifting) for at least two nights.. You'll be back in.
Don't trust the strips if you've been using them for a long time. Your body will learn to more efficiently use ketones and there will be a whole lot less in your urine (weak/no reading). Again, don't trust the strips. They're an amusement and a novelty for us, but they're really meant for diabetics and their accuracy is for that group.0 -
A couple days of "Fat Fasting" does the trick for me0

^ agreed. Usually 2 days with >80% fat puts me right back in.0 -

I use the strips and have never had a single one turn a deep purple..maybe a pink/mauve between the sticks and the scale, im ready to just trash them both some days LOL
But I agree with Eddie... keep it to 20g or less per day, up the fat , exercise and Ketosis will return.0 -
