Percentage or Straight Number

I've been doing a 15% cut, I have a BMF so I know what my average TDEE is. I was wondering though if that's the best way, maybe taking a 350 calorie cut is better.

Anyone have an opinion on this?

% is better, because if you have a bigger day, you get a bigger deficit, because TDEE was higher. Less active day, less cut.

That's the best way to handle the change in activity.

Actually, adjusting the % based on amount to lose is also very correct, as reasonable deficit is lower with less fat to lose.

That sounds about right. I have about 20 to lose. So I am doing the 15%. I am glad I was doing the percentage already.
