How active is "lightly active"?

I do 3 x 30 mins resistance training (gym-based, weights but not heavy lifting) and probably 3 x 45 mins on an exercise bike (not hardcore spinning, just while I'm watching TV) each week.

Am I right in thinking that's lightly active - none of it feels super intensive, I'd just love someone to confirm for me that that sounds right. I was eating at sedentary for a while but coming back to the basics of emtwl I really think I'm under eating.

    I would say that you are more in the Moderate category. Even if you have a desk job most people fit into the Moderate category when they workout 3-5 days a week. You are right, if you underestimate your activity level, you are still in effect undereating.
