Ran another 5k yesterday. It raised money for a children's grief camp and you were running in "remembrance of someone." My mother in law is buried there was it had extra meaning for me. They released white doves too. We ran the whole cemetery. A lot of loops and surprisingly, hills albeit short ones. I ran it in 28 min 30 seconds which was 10 seconds faster than the 5k I ran the day before. It was a good run and I couldn't have gone any faster. It was a larger 5k so I'm pretty proud of finishing 5th. The fourth place winner missed a medal by 8 seconds but I was a minute slower than her so it wasn't close. Just like last weekend when I did two in a row, by 5 pm I felt like I had been run over by a bus:)

Sorry I've been absent for a few days. Saturday I barely managed 1.5 miles. I tore out the back of my heel last week, on running shoes that were past their time. So I've been nursing my wounds so to speak. Since I'm on a half-marathon training schedule I bumped week 4 back a whole week. To replace Sunday's Run I did 30 minutes of 8" stair climbers. My calves still ache. Yesterday was date night and a day of rest. I was so proud of myself finding something yummy to eat but staying under calories. Today I am planning to do another 45 minutes of stair climbers, just gotta get motivated since its my day off as well :D

Amazing job, and what a fun race to run in. Great times too!! You must be so proud of your accomplishments. I finally signed up for my first 5k. November 24th, its a color run to help build a new community center here locally.
