What does everyone do on their "diet" break? I mean as in exercise wise.

    I hope they would pump it up with the harder workouts. Not longer or more, but an intense one can be more intense. Recovery ones should still be recovery of course.

    What better time to be eating extra food, when the body can really make use of it to make improvements.

    Usually happens automatically, first lifting session you discover the weight seems lighter, so do few extra reps. Next session, more weight.
    First run you feel like you can go faster with same effort, so you do.

    The bummer part comes in when you go back to cut, and the increased weight you had reached seems harder now. But at least you increased.
