Progressing from P90X?

I admit that I am not very into strength training. Most of my life (well, for about the last 20 years), I have been into distance running and that has been the focus of my exercise routine. Along with this, I have done minimal strength training videos such as The Firm (remember those?) and more recently P90X. I usually do these 1-2 days a week in an effort to maintain some lean body mass. My diary is open if you care to look at what my exercise routine generally consists of (this past weekend we were on a mini vacation, so it is not typical). The P90X videos are starting to become a bore and I am looking at maybe progressing into something a little more serious. I do not want to give up my running...it is my mental therapy. I am willing to add a little more time to my exercise schedule if necessary. My question is, is there something that I can do that can be done at home with minimal investment that will give me better results than what I am doing now? I currently have dumbbells ranging from 5-15 lbs and that's it. I am not really sure I want to join a gym. Any recommendations?

There are bodyweight programs you can start off with if you don't want to invest in heavier weights- Nerdfitness, You Are Your Own Gym, and Convict Conditioning.

You can also look into sandbag training or TRX Suspension as alternative methods for strength/resistance training.
