Smoothies :)

I have tried making my own smoothies with a healthy twist.
Recipe 1:

Curly Kale - 2 stalks (leaves)
Strawberries (15)
Medium red apple (1)

Chop the Kale and the apple into very fine sections, then chop the kale also. Place all ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker (the maker which removes the pulp is the better one, but not everyone can afford it)

blend or smoothie the mixer - you will find it to be rather thick, a minute or two into blending, add some ice cold water (25ml) and this should thin it out a little.

Recipe 2:

Carrot (3 medium)
Large Orange (1)
Smal Sized Green Grapes (23)

Again, with the previous recipe, chop all ingredients into small sections, place into the blender or smoothie maker.
Dont forget to add the ice cold water for smoothness.

I really enjoyed the carrot smoothie and by replacing lunch with a smoothie i have seen good daily losses; whilst still being able to eat a good breakfast and a small dinner :) so your getting all the nutrients you require and it tastes really nice - also i would suggest that the fruit and vegetables you use, you buy fresh every day to encourage you to walk out to the green grocers and purchase your meal as it will get you active :) ENJOY
